Our crabapple tree bloomed today!

God amazes me. The streets in our neighborhood are beautifully lined with blooming trees and flowers. Our own crabapple tree has joined the other trees and now has wonderfully fragrant white blooms. I'm so grateful that Drew and I do not suffer from allergies. Matt, on the other hand, will be coughing, sneezing and snorting for the next few weeks. I guess we'll see how Jett handles the Georgia spring months. This is my favorite time of year!

It's almost Easter!

It's almost Easter, which means Spring has arrived! I can not tell you how excited I am for sundresses, white pants, flip flops and playing outside! This winter, as everyone in the south knows, has been absolutely dreadful. Bring on the sunshine!!

This morning, Drew was so eager to color his Easter eggs. We boiled them last night, so he knew that was the first thing he was going to do when he woke up today.

I took the boys outside in the front yard today to try to get some pictures of them. Of course, I thought it would be easy to just take them out, sit them together and snap a few photos of them smiling joyfully and then I'd be done. It was more like, dress Jett (with bib so shirt won't be soaked within minutes), bribe Drew because he is NOT interested, I give in to no shoes, walk outside, convince Drew that the bumble bee will not hurt him, sit the boys on the ground, pull pine needles out of Jett's mouth, and...finally...I get a (one) shot of the two of them together. To my surprise, it is pretty good and all my efforts paid off!

Drew took off and I didn't stop him. I decided I'd just get a few of Jett, while he's little and can't run from me!

We are off to an Easter egg hunt at Drew's school and I am really looking forward to church tomorrow and spending the afternoon with our great family! HE IS RISEN!!!
